How to clean a SUPER gummed up carb?

Yamaha YFZ450/450R (2004-Present) - Yamaha ATV Forum - www.bluetraxx.com
hey guys...sorry for all the posts...(obviously working hard on the quad) My carb sat for yes...3 years...with the gas on...(long story)

I have the whole thing apart and it is gummed up like you wouldnt belive. I have soaked all the jets in carb cleaner, the floatbowl literally has a layer of gum in it...i had to get big chunks with a nail- but its really staying on there.

I am soaking the piss out of everything in carb claner but its barely making a dent.

anyone have any 'secret tips' to help me out..any great claners out there...what should i sub with..at this point steel wool is the only thing making a dent.

.i could really use it!
