Yamaha - Choke-ology

Yamaha YFM660R Raptor (2001-2005) - Yamaha ATV Forum - www.bluetraxx.com
I did do some digging before asking.

So I have the choke plunger seized in its hole and even better the cable detached! Ya frickin who!

Tried spraying it, beating it, heating it, twisting it.....even drilled it to the port. No damn luck!

I'm very ready to apoxy the hole shut and use the thumb screw for idle to give it the rich mix for colder starts!?!? Does anyone else have a good idea around this issue? I'm not to hot to throw out an otherwise perfect set of carbs...ya know?
