Re-advertising as I need a seven-channel amp. Looking to sell but I'd consider a part trade with £ my way if anyone has a seven channel amp (or straight trade if it's an exceptional seven channel amp).
I bought the Halcro in January; the original deal thread:
For Sale - Anthem D2v inc. ARC Digital Processor & Halcro MC50 Amp plus broadcast standard XLR
It's an amazing amp as attested to by every review you'll find of it. It originally retailed for $7000. If you're interested, there's a technical paper explaining how it achieves distortion "many hundreds of times lower than the typical lowest distortion amplifiers":
The specs give an indication of this: class D, 350W into 4ohms all channels driven, THD below 0.007 percent at 1kHz, and less than .03 percent at 7kH. Halcro was founded by an Australian physicist who designed an amp described by Stereophile as "the best amplifier ever". See here:

Here's a review of the 2-channel version:
Halcro Logic MC20 power amplifier
And of the MC50:
Halcro MC50 Multi-channel Power Amplifier - AVRev.com
The reviews compare it favourably against the likes of Bryston/Krell/Classe. User feedback on AVS reflected this. If it weren't for my decision to move to a seven channel amp as my main amp, I'd be holding on to this. As it is, I'm reconciled to the fact the amp I'll replace it with will be inferior.
There are more pics in the original deal thread.
